Alan finally can bite back at ex Judith, now even Jake notices how fond she is of the gardener, who clearly spends way less time on the lawn then in her bed. Alan and Bertha pity fallen womanizer Charlie, whose super-fit latest conquest Mia not only wears him out physically, but drags him into a health freak hell that pleases only mother Evelyn, who conspires with her how best to 'convert' the libertine. Charlie soon relapses in his 'guilty vices', only now hidden, and bribes Jake to betray it only to Rose, who even helps smuggle in greasy food. Dragged to a vegan 'restaurant' and found out by his meaty breath, Charlie makes a macho scene and dumps her, only to lapse into heartbroken gloom. Rose tries to make Charlie jealous with delivery boy Gordon, until she learns her 'rival' is off. Charlie wants Mia back, finds her roommate abandoned as she took a New York job and tries to book a flight, until he realizes Ginger is much more to his taste in every shamelessly libertine respect.
