• Ike : Father... What's going on? Where are you?

  [Ike runs in the woods in the dark and sees Greil and the Black Knight fighting with an axe and sword] 

  Ike : Father!

  [Greil quickly looks at Ike] 

  Greil : Ike! Stay back!

  Black Knight : [Tosses Ragnell to Greil]  Here. Use this blade.

  Greil : ...What are you doing?

  Black Knight : [Unsheathes Alondite]  I've been waiting for this for a long time. I would prefer it if you use your proper weapon, so that I might see you at your full strength, General Gawain, Rider of Daein.

  Greil : That was my name... once. But I...

  [Greil throws Ragnell back at the Black Knight] 

  Greil : ...Threw it away. the only weapon I need... is right... HERE!

  [Greil pulls out his battleaxe] 

  Black Knight : Do you... want to die?

  Greil : Your voice... I remember you. Think you can defeat me, the man who taught you how to fight? What a fool. Come on, boy. Come try me.

  [the Black Knight continues to fight until he stabs Greil] 

  Black Knight : Is that... all there is? No challenge. No resistance.

  [Then Greil falls to the ground and dies. Ike runs up to Greil and holds him while the Black Knight stands still] 

  Ike : Father! Don't... Don't leave! Don't leave me! FATHER!

• Ike : Mother.

  [Ike wakes up. He then gets up and walks over to Mist who is singing and picking flowers] 

  Ike : Mist, that song.

  [Mist turns to look at Ike] 

  Mist : Oh, you're up. Bout time.

  [Ike then remembers his mother] 

• Ike : [At the Serenes Forest, Ike and Mist witness Reyson and Leanne praying at the altar and they're singing, Ike then looks at Mist]  Don't I know, Mist, isn't that mothers song?

  Mist : Not quite, but it... it is close. Ike look! Up there!

  [Mist points up and the magic spell is cast over Serenes Forest and the trees comes back to life in green again and the sun rises] 

  Mist : It's incredible.

  [Mist spins around and runs] 

  Ike : The heart of the forest is returned.

  [Reyson and Leanne still pray at the altar] 

• Ike : [In the Castle of Crimea Ike walks up to Elincia who is sitting on her throne]  What's wrong? Everyone's waiting to see you.

  Elincia : I'm nervous. I've spent my whole life in hiding. It's just... no one ever taught me how to rule a kingdom. I don't think I'm... ready to be their queen. I don't think I'm... ever really... going to be ready.

  Ike : What's the matter with you?

  Elincia : Ike, stop it! How can...

  Ike : Did anyone teach you... how to hire mercenaries?

  Elincia : No... But that's not the same.

  Ike : How to win back lost allies? How to win back your lost kingdom?

  Elincia : That's... that's different.

  Ike : [Ike kneels down]  No, It's not. You've done such an amazing job. And I think you... always will.

  Elincia : I see.

  Ike : Alright. Come on. We'll do this, together.

  [Ike stands up and takes Elincias hand and she stands up] 

  Elincia : Thank you. My Lord Ike. I am... I am so blessed... to have met you.

  [Ike and Elincia both walk out to the window balcony to greet the crowd outside] 

  Narrator : And so it was, that in the spring of the year 646. Elincia Ridell Crimea, sought peace, returned to her homeland. In the years to follow. The story of Queen Elincia and her noble hero Ike. Spread across the land and inspired the songs of many a wandering troubadour.
