  Jack Bauer : What've you got?

  Chloe O'Brian : You're not going to like it. I found a connection between Walt Cummings and Audrey

  Jack Bauer : What kind of a connection?

  Chloe O'Brian : They dealt with each other a few times, the usual stuff between DOD and the White House: there's something else

  Jack Bauer : What?

  Chloe O'Brian : They both stayed at a place called The River Hotel in Pikesville in Maryland last April

  Jack Bauer : So?

  Chloe O'Brian : So Pikesville isn't exactly a hot spot with top ranking federal officials, it wasn't a coincidence that they were there on the same night

  Jack Bauer : What're you trying to say?

  Chloe O'Brian : They didn't just stay in the same hotel, they stayed in the same room

  Jack Bauer : How could you possibly know that?

  Chloe O'Brian : Because I emailed photos of them to the manager: he recognized them both. He showed me phone bills, room service receipts. I can show if you want

  Jack Bauer : No, it's ok

  Chloe O'Brian : It doesn't mean she's part of their conspiracy but it doesn't look good exactly either

  Jack Bauer : Give me copies of everything you got and put it in a folder for me

  Chloe O'Brian : I will

  Jack Bauer : Thanks

• Jack Bauer : [while interrogating her, shows her a picture]  have you ever had contact with Collette Stenger?

  Audrey Raines : No

  Jack Bauer : She says you provided her with information from the DOD

  Audrey Raines : I know, Bill told me, that's ridiculous and you know it: you're wasting time we don't have

  Jack Bauer : I had to "ask" CTU so I can interrogate you. I have a job to do, if I don't it, Burke will and I promise you, you do not want see him walk through that door

  Audrey Raines : How and what kind of information did she say I gave her?

  Jack Bauer : She said you provided her with a structural schematic of Bierko's next target

  Audrey Raines : What kind of structure?

  Jack Bauer : She didn't know: she just delivered the package

  Audrey Raines : She claims that I gave her information yet she can't tell you what that information is and that's enough to make me a suspect?

  Jack Bauer : Damn it, you know what this nerve gas does, they are planning another attack, we will not ignore any leads

  Audrey Raines : I have nothing to do with these terrorists

  Jack Bauer : How did Collette Stenger get your name?

  Audrey Raines : I don't know. My father's the Secretary of Defense, I'm an easy target: maybe she's trying to use him or embarrass him

  Jack Bauer : Is he involved?

  Audrey Raines : You know him better than that. You worked with him, he would never do anything outside the law and neither would I

  Jack Bauer : [Shows her pictures of them]  the two men we know that are part of the conspiracy are Walt Cummings and Christopher Henderson. Have you had any contact with these men?

  Audrey Raines : Christopher Henderson, I've never heard of him before today and Walt Cummings I met a couple times yes

  Jack Bauer : Where?

  Audrey Raines : DOD briefings

  Jack Bauer : That's it?

  Audrey Raines : Yes

  Jack Bauer : Are you sure?

  Audrey Raines : Yes, I'm sure

  Jack Bauer : [Tosses a folder in front of her]  open it

  Jack Bauer : [after she opens the folder]  The River hotel, Pikesville, last April

  Audrey Raines : Yeah, I'm sorry, we happened to be there at the same time. We have had a drink or two together

  Jack Bauer : [Raises his voice]  you weren't having drinks with him. You shared a room with him, you slept with him

  Audrey Raines : Yes, I was still recovering from losing you. He had just separated from his wife and I slept with him once and I broke it off

  Jack Bauer : Why'd you break it off?

  Audrey Raines : Please, it's complicated

  Jack Bauer : [Yells]  why did you break it off?

  Audrey Raines : Because he wasn't you

  Jack Bauer : Why did you lie to me when I asked you the first time?

  Audrey Raines : Because I was afraid you'd think less of me: that you wouldn't be able to forgive me

  Jack Bauer : Because you slept with someone after you thought I was dead?

  Audrey Raines : Because I slept with someone who turned out to be a traitor

  Jack Bauer : Is that the only time you spent with Cummings?

  Audrey Raines : Yes

  Jack Bauer : Did he ever talk to you about a terrorist attack? Or nerve gas?

• Jack Bauer : [while in an interrogation room]  what's your connection to Christopher Henderson?

  Collette Stenger : I have an immunity agreement signed by your President

  Federal Marshal : She's right: she can't be questioned

  Jack Bauer : We have proof she withheld information, her deal's been rescinded, the order is on its way

  Federal Marshal : When it gets here, she's all yours

  Jack Bauer : [Raises his voice to the Federal Marshal]  an innocent woman is being interrogated because of her

  Federal Marshal : [Before Jack punches him unconscious and takes his gun]  I'm sorry sir but you have to go

  Jack Bauer : [while pointing the gun at her]  we know you lied to us: we know you did not get the schematics from Audrey Raines. Henderson told you to use her name when you got in trouble right? You do not want to try me

  Collette Stenger : Yes

  Jack Bauer : He tell you why?

  Collette Stenger : No

  Jack Bauer : He's using you. He wanted you to get inside my head, it worked, I know him. You have three seconds to tell me what the target is or I will kill you

  Jack Bauer : [Yells]  where is the target?

  Collette Stenger : A natural gas distribution center

  Jack Bauer : There are dozens of those in the city, which one?

  Collette Stenger : I don't know, I swear

  Collette Stenger : [Shaking her head]  I don't know, I don't

• Karen Hayes : [while in her office]  you need to calm down Jack and remember who's in charge

  Jack Bauer : Audrey Raines is innocent

  Karen Hayes : She slept with a known conspirator and lied about it: that doesn't concern you?

  Jack Bauer : She slept with him once and lied about it because she was embarrassed, that hardly makes her part of this conspiracy

  Karen Hayes : Why did Collette Stenger name her as a source?

  Jack Bauer : She must've gotten Audrey's name from Henderson

  Karen Hayes : Why would Henderson want to implicate Audrey?

  Jack Bauer : Henderson doesn't want to implicate Audrey: his coming after me. His trying to make me lose focus, his trying to pull you off target, and his done it

  Karen Hayes : These plans must have been made some time ago when Henderson had every reason to believe you that were going to be killed

  Jack Bauer : Listen to me, this is what I do for a living. And the first rule of engagement is that you have a contingency plan and this is his and its working. You're getting ready to interrogate Audrey Raines? When you should be interrogating Collette Stenger because she still has information that we don't have!

  Karen Hayes : Stenger has immunity. She's being protected by a federal Marshal: that's your doing. You made that deal

  Jack Bauer : I know but if I can prove Collette Stenger is withholding information from us, that act alone negates her deal, I'll be able to start questioning her again, she will give me Henderson. Once I have Henderson, he will lead us to the nerve gas and that's what we're supposed to be focused on

  Bill Buchanan : What'd you suggest we do Jack?

  Jack Bauer : Let me and Chloe find proof that Collette Stenger is lying to us

  Jack Bauer : [to Karen]  if you don't, we lose nothing but if we do, we can stop this thing from happening, I promise you please
