Wanna Be Dead like Him!!
fraudolent30 July 2006
I watched the short when I was in Rome in 2003 during a party. I can only remember it was a funny and very grotesque story where a man is waiting for his death so long.......... Maybe the director is a a well-known man in his country, maybe he is just a stupid guy wasting time with videos to impress the girls. Believe me, he's got style!! If I'm not wrong, the short is part of a wider trilogy including two other shorts about a strange girl called Sabrina. I was impressed by the dark music and by the late night atmosphere but "L'attesa" is in the A-list. Beware of the terrific dwarf in the short, he is not the main character but he is unforgettable!!!

Obsession for control
patata-231 July 2006
Beautiful short piece! This movie perfectly explores the theme of being obsessed by controlling one's life by telling what the extreme of that would be. The whole sense of obsessions is to try and escape the fear of living by setting a strict control on each detail in life, but in doing so one ends up in not living. The short has been clearly shot with a low budget but that does not really spoil the beauty of the play and the timeless theme exposed. I considered it a little masterpiece. Very much enjoyed the mix of tragic and comic and the many references to the Greek tragedy. When I first watched it I needed to take some time to reflect on its symbols. Recommended to those who always try to dig beyond the surface.

I wanna see Enrico's next work
germento25 September 2006
Besides his extremely paranoid lifestyle, Enrico is really a great director, full of talent and perfectly skilled on how to have one understand his point of view through strong images. I watched this short back 2003, I was quite drunk and maybe I got confused...but I can assure everybody that this guy would deserve to be put in the best condition of telling his stories....we need directors like him. I think Enrico has made a total of 5 shorts and that he was working some other projects, maybe now it's time to shoot a feature film though with very limited budget. Nevertheless money doesn't make a good film...ideas and talent do
