Epic Games has seen a huge amount of success since the release of their Battle Royale Fortnite and much of this success can be c credited to the game’s constantly changing landscape and the very successful collaborations the company has undertaken with fan-favorite companies such as Marvel and even with popular animated TV series such as Rick and Morty and of course who could forget the FortnitexFamily Guy crossover.
So it comes as no surprise that the game is adding yet another beloved property to its already impressive resume in the form of one of Nickelodeon’s most popular franchises Avatar: The Last Airbender and fans are seriously excited about one addition to the game.

Call of Duty has collaborated with Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire and has brought new events and franchise-inspired exclusive cosmetics to Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. The collaboration has seen the arrival of several weapon skins, charms, and much more for the players.
One of the collaboration cosmetics has arrived in the game and has been met with less enthusiasm as it is highly overpowered and overpriced and costs more than the base game itself. However, some Warzone players are in favor of it, have already bought the cosmetic, and are having fun.

Call of Duty: Zombies from 2011-12 was a canceled project, which was developed by Raven. This was revealed by a former Call of Duty (Cod) developer who had worked on several franchise titles from Black Ops to Cold War and Warzone.
Call of Duty: Zombies was revealed to be a stand-alone microtransactions-based live-service title modeled after 2015’s Call of Duty: Online. The Cod-branded project was codenamed Project Zed, as an experimental project, but never saw the light of day eventually. Reasons were also revealed as to why Treyarch initially turned down the project which has also never been attempted since then.

Call of Duty as a franchise has always been known for its fun and engaging online play. While many fell in love with its war gameplay, others found enjoyment in its zombie mode.
Enter Call of Duty: Zombies, a now canceled live-service project that was conceptualized around 2011-2012. We learned about this after Michael Gummelt, former Lead Designer at Software, revealed the project in a recent interview.
Call of Duty Zombies – What Could’ve Been Early development started on Call of Duty: Zombies after Call of Duty: Black Ops.

There are a lot of titles that have impressed gamers, but only some have managed to stay relevant year after year and continue to do so, including titles like Fortnite, Call of Duty, and Roblox. These games have a large player base and continue to bring in more with new additions.
The company has been tapping into almost all areas of gaming, and according to Xbox president Sarah Bond, the company is now looking to challenge and adapt to the above-mentioned games, which are also called ‘Black Hole titles’, to bring in more players and increase growth.

[Review] Graphic Novel ‘Tender’ Is Brilliant Feminist Body Horror That Will Make You Squirm & Scream
Beth Hetland’s debut graphic novel, ‘Tender,’ is a modern tale of love, validation, and self-destruction by way of brutal body horror with a feminist edge.
“I’ve wanted this more than anything.”
Men so often dominate the body horror subgenre, which makes it so rare and insightful whenever women tackle this space. This makes Beth Hetland’s Tender such a refreshing change of pace. It’s earnest, honest, and impossibly exposed. Tender takes the body horror subgenre and brilliantly and subversively mixes it together with a narrative that’s steeped in the societal expectations that women face on a daily basis, whether it comes to empowerment, family, or sexuality. It single-handedly beats other 2023 and ‘24 feminine horror texts like American Horror Story: Delicate, Sick, Lisa Frankenstein, and Immaculate at their own game.
Hetland’s Tender is American Psycho meets Rosemary’s Baby meets Swallow. It’s also absolutely not for the faint of heart.

For more than two decades, the Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Festival (Nifff) has been a draw for genre filmmakers from across the globe and a pull for Swiss youth. Heading into its 22nd edition, which runs June 30 – July 8, the lakeside event will once again showcase the kind outré and audacious fare that Neuchatel’s reliable and devoted young public has come to expect, while continuing to bridge outward, welcoming more unfamiliar faces into the fold.
“By instinct, influence, and mutual attraction, genre cinema will always appeal to the young,” says Nifff director Pierre-Yves Walder. “In fact, Nifff attracts one of the youngest publics of any Swiss festival, but I’d like to convert different audiences of perhaps different ages as well. And not just for commercial reasons; I find it so interesting and essential to mix things up.”

Anjimile has returned with the announcement of The King, his second full-length album, due on September 8th via 4Ad. The singer-songwriter also shared the album’s title track.
The King is Anjimile’s first album since 2020’s Giver Taker, and shows a deliberate, more somber side of the songwriter, who Consequence CoSigned in 2020. The title track and lead single, “The King,” captures this theme. What if your imaginary friend was a killer from a slasher film? Set in Scotland in 1994, the new comic book series The Nasty answers this compelling question with blood-splattered results as it follows 18-year-old Graeme “Thumper” Connell, who enjoys watching notorious "video nasties" with his friends in The Murder Club, until one night when they come across a cursed videotape that just might bring its cinematic nightmares to lethal life.

Balancing a mystery is a delicate operation. In the best of cases ("Twin Peaks" is a good example), a TV series will be able to keep introducing new clues over an extended period while keeping the central conundrum tantalizingly obfuscated. If said clues are intriguing enough, the audience will continue to tune in on a weekly basis, eager to solve the puzzle. This was certainly the model for the hit series "Lost," which managed to keep its ultimate secrets hidden for 121 episodes. "Lost," although having ended 12 years ago, seems to have wrought a trend we're still riding out in modern TV: The...

The following The Flash article contains spoilers through Season 7, Episode 14.
The Flash Season 7 Episode 14
The long-anticipated arrival of DC Comics fan favorite Sue Dearbon was a high point of The Flash Season 6, and Natalie Dreyfuss’ instantly charming version of the character did not disappoint. This was a Sue with her own agenda and point of view, a woman who was clearly destined to do more than just fall in love and die violently to serve a man’s story.
A former cat burglar and petty criminal, she was introduced as a smart and sassy heroine who drops quips as easily as she throws a punch. It feels safe to say that almost everyone loved her character pretty much instantly, something that certainly isn’t guaranteed in the world of a show like this.
But when Dreyfuss’ co-star Hartley Sawyer was abruptly fired from the show during the mid-season hiatus, Sue...

To put it simply, Sammy (Miya Cech) isn’t doing too well. She’s as angsty as any other 13-year-old on a good day and vandalizing school on a bad one, assuming she’s actually at school. Chalk it up to early adolescence, sure, but it’s mostly because of family issues. Her mother has passed away and her dad, Angus (Leonardo Nam), is already seeing someone new named Marianne (Paulina Lule). Sammy isn’t a big fan of hers. Beyond giving her the silent treatment at dinner, she also… has fantasies later on about chopping her in half with a chainsaw, blood spewing everywhere?
Yes, yes she does. It’s not like this is some running gag or the type of content Marvelous and the Black Hole latches onto, but it’s emblematic of something. Despite the cutesy humor and script that is approached with the tone that would...

Switzerland’s Tristan Aymon, director of short film “Black Hole” (“Trou Noir”), the only title to win two prizes at the 2020 Locarno Festival – a Pardino d’Argento in Swiss Competition and a Youth Jury best Swiss short – is preparing “Skate,” his feature debut.

Upcoming movies from two Argentine filmmakers, Lucrecia Martel’s “Chocobar” and Mari Alessandrini’s “Zahori,” won the top Pardo 2020 Awards at the Locarno Film Festival’s The Films After Tomorrow, its highest-profile competition, the festival announced Friday.
Of other major plaudits in The Films After Tomorrow, a section highlighting Covid-19-hit productions, “Savagery,” from Portugal’s Miguel Gomes, scooped the strand’s Special Jury Prize. Its prize for most innovative project went to “The Fabric of the Human Body,” from Verena Paravel and Lucien Castaing-Taylor.
The top awards – Martel and Alessandrini winning Pardos for best international and Swiss projects, respectively, which both come with SFr 70,000 cash prizes – went to movie projects that explore themes of race, or the malpractice of supposedly unimpeachable authority.
Lead produced by Argentina’s Rei Cine, “Chocobar,” a hybrid creative documentary, sees Martel double down on the historical and cultural context of the assassination in 2007 of indigenous activist Javier Chocobar,...

Locarno Film Festival’s decision this year to pull its traditional completed feature film sections — with its top Golden Leopard prizes — has thrust into the limelight its short film lineup, Pardi di Domani (Leopards of Tomorrow). This year’s contest certainly lives up to its name — with many filmmakers already delivering titles that feel like short feature films.
“Several themes stand out, such as issues of family ties, friendships, while some films underpin more political and topical issues,” says Charlotte Corchète, head of the selection committee.
Selected from the 43-title lineup, here are some of the films worth catching.
“Black Hole”
The most buzzed of Swiss shorts, capturing Vincent and his teen friends during a long summer in his home Swiss valley, skateboarding, lazing by the lake, driving around in Vitara convertible or sharing a joint. For Vincent, however, this summer will be his last: He’ll soon leave to study abroad.

Cate Blanchett’s untitled Lucille Ball biopic and Sylvester Stallone’s “Little America” are among a dozen projects selected for $40 million tax credit allocations by the California Film Commission.
The list, unveiled Monday, includes “Moonshadow,” the story of a transgender teen sent to conversion camp, which also has a trans creative team, cast and crew; “Ashes to Ocean,” which revolves around an Asian family; “The Test,” which focuses on immigration and citizenship; New Regency’s thriller “Black Hole,” based on a graphic novel; and “Half Baked 2.” Universal’s “Live Feed” received the largest allocation with $10 million.
“As a project with many trans and other gender non-confirming creative team members, cast and crew, it was essential for ‘Moonshadow’ production to be based in a progressive state,” said executive producer Jude Harris. “California’s tax credit program is making it possible for us to generate jobs and production spending here at home...

This article contains The Flash spoilers if you aren’t all caught up through episode 18 of season six.
Save for Season 1’s Eobard Thawne – who also happens to be Barry Allen’s most iconic nemesis – The Flash has often struggled to craft compelling villains. From Zoom to Savitar and both versions of Cicada, the bad guys on this show tend to be fairly one-note, with goals that are generally straightforward and often not all that interesting. Steal Barry’s speed! Murder Iris! Take over the world with a weirdo brain helmet! Yawn.
The Flash Season 6 has worked diligently to reverse this trend, first with Ramsey Rosso’s Bloodwork, a villain driven by a fear of death and his own mortality rather than a lust for power and now in Eva McCulloch, a woman trapped in an alternate dimension for six years, who just wants to get back the life she left behind.

Everything is finally coming together.
All the different aspects that have made up the second half of The Flash Season 6 started to weave together on The Flash Season 6 Episode 16 to form one cohesive, promising story.
And it can all be traced back to Joseph Carver.
Carver is an exciting villain to have on a show that has mainly featured speedsters, or even just metahumans in general as the Big Bads.
But it is a refreshing and welcome change as Carver uses his money and resources to thwart Team Flash and try to make his vision -- whatever that might be -- a reality.
Carver: It even sounds like you're saying I hired someone to pop out of a box to assassinate you.
Joe: I didn't say that Rag Doll popped out of a box.
Carver: Damn. And I was doing so well.
Permalink: Damn. And I was doing so well.

This week on The Flash, Barry had a need to monitor his speed. But when superhero duty pulled him in multiple directions, who was it that he ultimately let down?
As Carver sicced Rag Doll on Joe West, Singh begged his top cop to hide out in Witsec — but Joe refused, feeling he is close to getting the goods on the tech titan and his ties to Black Hole. But sure enough, Joe nearly dies when during a drive his car speeds up and refuses to brake. Luckily, he throws himself out the driver door before it crashes and explodes into a wall.

The Flash gets a creepy-crawly blast from the past when the CW drama returns with its first new episode in five weeks.
In the episode “So Long and Goodnight,” airing Tuesday, April 21 at 8/7c, Black Hole hires the suuuuuper-bendy Rag Doll (returning guest star Troy James) to kill Joe. But when Joe refuses to head into Witsec and stop investigating Carver (guest star Eric Nenninger), it appears — as seen in this first batch of new episodic photos in what feels like far, far too long — that someone very near and dear to the top cop will land in the mysterious organization’s cross hairs.

Considering that Barry Allen is the fastest man alive, he sure has been slow in returning to our TV screens with new episodes, right? To be fair, unlike nearly everything else that happens on the show, the ongoing delay with The Flash isn’t actually Barry’s fault, but a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic which has affected every corner of the economy, from “non-essential” businesses to TV productions. Which, to be fair, in the grand scheme of things, even Den of Geek has to admit is “non-essential.” Whew, that got dark.
Like the rest of the TV production slate, The Flash had to press pause on filming and post-production for a while last month as the seriousness of the pandemic began to take hold. And while there were still a number of episodes that had been filmed, it also slowed down post-production, which led to several upcoming episodes...

It’s been a while since we found out that Disney+ UK’s launch would be running around five months behind its debut in the Us and we’ve certainly had a grumble about it, as we’re fond of doing here on days with ‘y’s’ in them, but the streaming service is finally coming to this green and, er, pleasant land later this month.
Looking ahead to what we can expect to find on the platform, we’ve grabbed an official list of movies, TV series and specials streaming on Disney+ UK at launch, and hopefully you’ll find something that excites you on it. If not? Ehh, there are always those other ten bajillion streaming providers to choose from.
Indeed, you’ll notice a lot of these titles were previously staples of the defunct Disney+ Life app, which is being fully replaced by Disney+, and there...

“A journey that begins where everything ends…” That was the tagline on the poster for The Black Hole, Disney’s $20 million sci-fi gamble in the post-Star Wars game, essentially spelling out its reality in the marketplace in 1979.

David Fincher has circled/almost directed a lot of movies in his time, and eight years ago, we ran down The 5 Lost David Fincher Projects We’d Still Love To See One Day. Making the cut was “Black Hole,” the adaptation of Charles Burns‘ acclaimed novel. Plenty of talent has attempted to wrangle the material, with Alexandre Aja (“Haute Tension,” “Piranha 3D”) originally attached to direct, while Neil Gaiman and Roger Avary tried and failed to write a script that pleased Fincher.
