Barbara walks a tightrope, she has to do all she can to placate Saladin, whilst being very wary a dangerous opponent.
It's good, it generally seems to focus on the danger Barbara is placed in, she inadvertently made an enemy, and is now the subject of the venom of El Akir. I find bits of it are a little slow.
Despite only two episodes being missing from this four part story, it seems so unlikely that this will receive the animation treatment for many years, it's not because it's not good, it just doesn't seem to get much attention, plus it has a degree of complexity.
My words are based on audios, photos, reconstructions and pictures.
Jean Marsh appears as the real Joanna, and whilst I can only hear her words, her performance was clearly very good, she certainly looks the part also.
There is no denying the acting quality of Julian Glover once again, be is truly excellent. Walter Randall appeared in several Dr Who productions, arguably this was his finest moment on the show as El Akir.
Such a shame it's lost, who knows, maybe one day it'll resurface.
7/10.
