80's stew of stereotypes!
mm-3914 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Halloween XII is an 80's stew of stereotypes! What works here is everyone growing up in the 80's knew people in high school that were walking typecast stereotypes. Mrs Loomis is the out of touch teacher who get roped into a pajama party for the female students by Muffy. I can see why everyone hate Muffy such a bizzy body. Just wears down poor Mrs Loomis. Patty and Lauren get a chance to be with the cool kids. I never realized until I re watch this episode years latter why no one like Lauren because she tries to hard in a creepy way! Lauren is so creepy that you would have to watch your back and your girlfriend would say I don't like her in a horror movie type way. Poor underconfident Patty gets dragged in. Everyone, knew a Vinnie who's going toilet paper the school during Halloween, and will blows of his his gal so LaDonna and the self absorbed popular crew head over to the party and just hate Lauren, while principle Dingleman is obsessed with catching to trouble maker Vinnie! All these type casted character with huge flaws will bubble out a humorous bubbling stew of awkward moments. When Mrs Loomis has a name your faults game the Halloween XII party hits a comic redline, with Vinnie crashing the party with Dingleman for comic climax. Many horror movie homages for a memorable episode. 7 stars.

Hilarious Halloween Episode

Patty and Lauren go to a Halloween slumber party at Ms Loomis' house.

A great episode, one of the best. It starts with Principal Dingleman warning the students about mischief on Halloween. Muffy gets the idea for Ms Loomis to have a Halloween party. Patty and Lauren go because they think it will help their popularity. Jennifer and LaDonna go because Vinnie wants to spend the night with the guys throwing shaving cream and toilet paper. Patty and Lauren buy expensive nightgowns but the mean girls still laugh at them. One of the funniest moments is when they do a party game where each has to anonymously write a criticism of one of the girls. The episode turns into a spoof of the "Halloween" movies as a guy in a mask seems to be stalking the girls.
