Don Diego turns an American Indian hating Spanish official into an Indian by using charcoal to blacken the guy's hair, and some sleep potion laced with red peppers to turn the guy's skin red. But it isn't Indian red, it's red like Oompa Loompas are orange.
The Indian held in jail for entering town against a law that had never been declared even comments: "You're the reddest Indian I've ever seen." Meanwhile Don Diego tricks the Alcalde into thinking he's shrinking, even though he's still the same height as he's always been when compared to others: except Diego when he wears some lifts.
