This is another episode that proceeds as if it's working on two different stories written by two people who didn't consult with each other.
The hypnotist, doctor boring or whatever his name is, finds out that Zorro has robbed all the places he told Don Diego to rob. He realizes Zorro is Don Diego.
But at the end of the episode Diego tricks the hypnotist into running away quickly, according to Diego before the hypnotist can figure out Zorro is Don Diego.
What? The bad guy already figured it out. He knew it. There was a scene during which he came to the realization.
WHAT? For some reason the trigger used to break Diego from the trance, et tu Brute, also works on Sergeant Mendoza. But the hypnotist never set that trigger for the Sergeant.
This episode is below average for the series. That's a problem. Because the series is below average.
