The Marshall Family make a bold attempt to escape The Land Of The Lost by making a primitive raft and sailing down the river in the hopes that they can find a way out of this crazy world they've stumbled into. After about an hour they find themselves heading toward another waterfall like the one that brought them there. Trying to escape the waterfall they make for a cave entrance just in time. Upon exploring the cave, they discover an old man, from The American Confederate States, not realizing the war has been over for over a hundred years. Somehow this old timer got whisked away just like The Marshalls and finds himself mining energy crystals that can be used for creative purposes. He also came with his old Confederate cannon he calls Sherry.
We also discover The Sleestak inhabit these caves as well. Finally, The Marshalls have had enough and would rather go back to their old cave rather than stay with The confederate. They finally get to their old stomping ground thanks to a water source in the cave that leads them home. Although Hollie would rather go back to his cave and doesn't care too much for Grumpy and the other dinosaurs.
This episode guest stars Walker Edmiston as Jefferson Davis Collie lll, The Confederate Soldier. Edmiston turns in a fine performance in this episode.
