This episode is possibly my favorite episode of the second season; because of how it introduces a new concept of the weather pylon. Just an FYI this episode consists of practically the entire episode being daytime, then returning to night in the end scene. What really popped out to me about this episode was how Rick Marshall freely chose to leave his children, while usually it is the other way around.
