When Captain Black is looking up names of people on a computer, 3 files come up on screen with pictures the people in the pictures are of Ron Thornton the CGI Producer, Harvey Randhawa the CGI Lighting and Josh Simmonds the CGI director for Blue Team.
This episode was the 4th episode produced and the 6th broadcast.
The Mercury probe uses a ramp of similar design to the one used in Gerry Anderson's Fireball XL5 (1962). The serial number of the probe ends in "5XL" - an obvious nod to the series and ship.
The Mercury probe uses a similar design cue from the Zero-X, a ship featured in the Thunderbirds Are Go (1966) motion picture and also later appeared in the first episode of Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (1967) television series, specifically the nose cone which attaches to the front of the ship in the highly dramatic opening title sequence of the film.
