- Steve and his new girlfriend kiss 3 times in the episode. Particularly, on the second occasion, Roger is spying on them pervertedly as they make out in Steve's bed, making sexual remarks and taking pictures of her, focused on her rear end.
- Asides from that, Roger tries to break both of them up so he can date her, even though he is an alien of thousands of years of age.
- Several suggestive (but not explicit) references to tampons, syphilis and menstruation.
Violence & Gore

- Steve gets a collar attached to his neck by his father. If he doesn't ask a girl out in 24 minutes, it will explode. For a second, it is believed that the collar exploded on his neck, but it is actually the shot of another child's funeral. Steve and his girlfriend, Debbie, are on a date above the funeral. As they talk, the sounds of the child's mother crying are heard in the background. It is more of a dark joke than anything, and is the only remote source of violence in the episode.

- The episode deals with anorexia, and although treated light heartedly, the theme may be unsettling for some, mostly when Stan's overly thin, poorly fed body is shown.
- Other than some profanity and suggestive jokes, the episode is somewhat family friendly, on par with an average episode of The Simpsons.
