Dave is looking forward to the kids going back to school so he plans some afternoon "fun" with Vicky on their first day back. Unfortunately for Dave & Vicky, Hillary has other plans for her first day back at school.
Meanwhile Mike's plans to break up with his girlfriend Heidi worries Dave because Dave fears he'll lose Heidi's father Jeff as a friend. Dave decides to stick his two cents in the matter but a back and forth situation ensues.
Larry reinvents himself with a new name of "Gideon."
All in all another solid episode. Poor Dave can't seem to catch a break but as usual his banter is second to none. Of the 3 kids, Mike seems to have grown the most since season 1, not necessarily height wise but you can tell his boyish face has matured. A cameo by Jerry "The Beaver" Mathers as he plays the principal of a young Dave.
My favorite line of the episode: Dave to Hillary-"what are you doing out of your room? You know what, that's it, I'm taking away your blackberry, your blueberry, the whole fruit bowl."
