Funny stuff
fredcdobbs517 November 2015
Mike the Cop catches Lou and Stinky fighting in the street and talks them into solving their problems by having a wresting match at the policemen's gymnasium, with the winner getting a $25 bond. Bud and Lou trick Stinky into eating 25 malted milks so he gets sick and can't wrestle, but instead his little brother substitutes for him--but his "little" brother is a giant bruiser named Ivan the Terrible.

This is one of the funnier episodes in the series. Lou and Stinky have what is probably their best running fight--it goes on for probably five minutes straight at the beginning of the show, and it's hilarious. The wrestling match itself between Lou and Ivan the Terrible--with Mike the cop as the referee--is also quite funny, although it appears that a stuntman doubles for Lou in most of the "action" shots, which is understandable because Costello was in his 50s at the time. There's also a bit that the duo had used before about scamming a restaurant owner out of a bill for a huge meal, which really doesn't have anything to do with the "plot", but it's still pretty good.

All in all, a very enjoyable episode.

Lou's Fight
JordanThomasHall5 July 2019
Stinky plows down Lou again and they begin to fight. Mike the Cop suggests they settle their differences by boxing for charity at the policeman's benefit. The winner receives a $25 defense bond. It is revealed that Mike the Cop is Stinky's uncle. Lou loses two out of three checker matches against Bingo the Chimp, dressed exactly like him. Bud takes Lou to the restaurant, but they don't have any money. They swipe Mike's uniform to get a free meal, but things don't go as planned. At the fight, it is learned that Stinky has gotten sick after Lou gave him 26 malted milks. Stinky's kid brother, the towering Ivan the Terrible, substitutes for him in the fight.
