Season two of "How I Met Your Mother" starts exactly were we left off with Lily leaving Marshal and Ted delighted to be with the girl of his dreams Robin.
We also now get a quick segment before the opening credits ala "Friends".
Plot In A Paragraph: Ted (Josh Radnor) Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Robin (Cobie Smulders) try to cheer up a depressed Marshall (Jason Segel) following his split from Lily (Alyson Hannigan). Things are made worse when he suspects she may be back in town.
An OK start to the second season, not a great return, but watchable TV, I particularly liked the Robin being a gun nut storyline, and Barney's speak about how the three single guys were going to rule New York.
Neil Patrick Harris really does make me laugh, and even the dullest episodes perk up when he is on screen.
