The class system is very much at play here, with middle class Eleanor pitting her wits against the upper class Mrs Judd Skeffington, and accepting the challenge of hosting a drinks party and buffet for The Bishop.
Sarah, who should delight in her mother's failings, once again shows her true humanity, and bails out her very fortunate mother. This was a nicely devised episode, with The Vicars and tarts theme fitting in nicely.
Some fun moments, and it's always nice to see someone so full of themselves taken down a few pegs. I enjoyed it. 8/10
