Here's a promotional film for the Disney animated version of ALICE IN WONDERLAND. It was intended for television, and was first broadcast on the FORD STAR REVUE in June of 1951. In it, James Melton narrates , explaining to his daughter how Walt Disney gave him a tour of the Disney production facilities, including the talent involved in making the feature cartoon. We get to see Kathryn Beaumont, who voice Alice, as well as Jerry Colonna and Ed Wynn. Of more interest to me are Winston Hibbler and Ward Kimball. Colonna and Wynn are easy to find, while the staff who made Disney's great cartoons are not.

Disney was not just a great producer of animation, he was a great showman, a promoter who understood early on that television was a great way to publicize his movies.
