Jon Pertwee's opening series comes to an end with this slightly bonkers, very camp episode, Teddybear's Picnic. It's an amusing little mystery, with a fun cast, fun panel, and some decent laughs.
It features arguably the worst murder sequence in the show's history, as the hostess is killed in the most silly and clunky manner, it's that kitsch though that it seems not to matter.
Pertwee once again interacts awfully well with the guest panel, Hughie Green and Dawn Addams in particular are a joy.
A fun ending to a very successful series. 7/10
