The series depicts the edition of the Roswell Daily Record with the headline "RAAF Captures Flying Saucer On Ranch in Roswell Region" as being printed on July 5, 1947. In reality, this edition was printed on July 8, 1947.
In the opening scene where the USAAF B-17s are on a daylight bombing raid over Germany in 1944, the Luftwaffe are flying Bf 109E's, straight out of the Battle of Britain in 1940. The Luftwaffe were using Bf 109G's at the time of this bombing raid.
