Eggs n baker was a Saturday morning kids TV show hosted by 'Bucks Fizz' singer Cheryl Baker. She showed the audience how to make simple recipes. There were also segments of visits to sites in the food industry and bands also played (well lip-synched) to the studio audience. Youtube informs me that Eggs'n'Baker was Blurs first ever TV appearance.
I thought the show was great - Cheryl was very entertaining, lively and bubbly. It was also very funny because she wasn't the greatest cook and regularly burnt food. A great influence on me as a kid to teach me how to feed myself properly - something that wasn't taught in many schools at the time.
