Alf and Ada are worried by the lack of business, even Alf's friends have deserted the sinking ship. Osbert goes in search of the reason, and finds everyone enjoying food at Joe's Café, and one reason in particular why everyone is there, Jeannie.
Have they dared sex things up a little bit on the show, is this a first? The show has been largely conservative from the off, it's never been bawdy or smutty, always wholesome family entertainment, and whilst Jeannie isn't provocative or alluring, sex sells.
Quite a good episode, the twist was making Jeannie pretty decent, she was surprisingly nice and down to Earth, she'd have made a good regular addition to the show.
This final series has been pretty good, and this is perhaps one of the better episodes.
7/10.
