When Sir Roderick and Sonia leave Poirot's apartment, Sir Roderick says "Ah, Bond Street." Had they gone there after being at Whitehaven, or were they on their way there; or was that street supposed to be outside of Poirot's place? The conversation seems to have been immediately after the visit; but we know Poirot resides at Whitehaven.
They were getting into a taxi. "Ah..., Bond Street" was the instruction to the driver.
