Much to Delia's relief, Frank lies to Mary and Bob, claiming that the missing money was from his own bank account to be used for campaign finances, and he has no memory of the fall. Maeve and Johnny begin to worry about Mary's continued association with Jack. In private, Frank tells Delia in no uncertain terms that he's keeping her secret because he doesn't want his campaign damaged by scandal, and he hasn't decided whether or not he wants to continue their sham of a marriage. Later, Delia has it out with Jill over Frank. Mary and Jack argue when Jack says flatly he thinks Frank's lying about the accident and the money.
