Bob, Bill and their dog Rag are back. Rags, we are told, has lost an eye to a bobcat already, but he seems none the worse for the experience. Now the boys are going after some vicious game, so they use a larger trap, a log for a drag, and anise oil on their gloves to hide the scent on the gear.
I've commented in reviews of previous episodes of THE ADVENTURES OF BOB AND BILL that they are not accomplished actors. Still, in this one, they seem right in character, taking particular delight in trussing up the wildcat in a manner that distresses my timid soul. True, today's youngster is not supposed to leave the home without adult supervision until 12, but watching these two wander around without adult supervision, armed with rifles and traps, makes me wonder where their parents are.
Then I remember their father, Robert N. Bradbury, is standing right beside the camera, telling them what to do.
