Tufnell gets tough!
ShadeGrenade22 May 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Ralph and Brian have found a nice, quiet little bar. A bit too quiet though, as they are the only customers. Just before he leaves, Ralph is handed a slip of paper by the barman. Unable to read Spanish, he looks at it and laughs. The barman says to the cleaner ( in Spanish ): "This man is a berk!".

Brian decides he does not want to be around Ralph all the time. When a spare room becomes free, he takes it. For the first time since the holiday began, Ralph is lonely. Then a shy young man by the unlikely name of 'Tufnell Park' ( Tom Chadbon ) arrives at the hotel. Ralph allows him to move into his room. As Brian goes off on his own, Ralph tries to replicate the same friendship with the new arrival. But things go badly wrong...

This cracking episode features a fine guest appearance from the underrated Tom Chadbon, whose credits include the 1974 Peter Cushing horror movie 'The Beast Must Die' and the 1979 'Dr.Who' adenture 'City Of Death'. Tufnell starts out as shy and retiring, but Ralph's continually talking about things he knows nothing about finally gets on his nerves and he attacks him with a razor!

Funniest moment - its the final scene. Brian and Ralph return to the bar we saw them in before. It has reopened, and a party is in full swing. Ralph is enjoying himself hugely when he spots Tufnell at the bar! Fearing a reprise of the razor attack, he backs off!
