Lucy is looking to spend a quite hour to watch her favourite show.

She gets interrupted by Lee who constantly annoys her by trying to remember the name of the lead actor.

Lee can recall all the FA Cup winners from 1972 to 1996 but now he cannot remember who won it last year.

As Lucy gets more exasperated, Lee thinks he has dementia.

My wife informed me that she acted as a consultant for this episode as it tends to be the normal evening in our household.

There certainly was an air of familiarity about it and the episode had several laughs.

This was observation comedy at its absolute best.

We have all got one in our family, somebody that does everything they can to spoil your favourite program, they crunch loudly, rustle sweet papers, and of course take great delight in half remembering actors, and half remembering shows they've been in. This reminded me of that episode of One foot in the Grave, featuring Victor and Margaret stuck in the car, two people confined, playing out a wonderful double hander (no Mrs Warboys of course.) The pair performed magnificently, comedy acting at its very best, no wonder Lee Mack recently won a BAFTA.

This was a vintage episode, some terrific laughs, but it was the genius of observation that made this such a winner, plus the incredible performances from the comedy duo.

A trip down Memory loss Lane, I found that side splitting. 9/10
