The guys go on a stag do - in a canal boat. On a night out there meet up with a couple of women who they get on with. Jez later runs over one of the women's dog, things then go from bad to worse.
I've cringed many times during this series, but this was awful, but so funny.

I read a review that suggested eating a family dog is not funny, outrageous, it's hilarious (in the context of this show). Comedy does not get any better than this. If you don't find this episode funny you are dead inside.

The killing, burning, then eating of the pet dog went too far for me. I could care less about any words, thoughts and/or action the characters do - harsh words, racial issues, off-color sex acts, misogyny, hedonism, are tasteless, but if they're written funny then they're okay since it's being portrayed as one adult against another - both of whom consent and look for a way to find humor in bad behavior.
Killing someone's pet dog and eating it? If this were a show about a country/culture where eating dog is normal, then I may still be on that character's side. But having Jeremy kill a beloved family dog, try to burn the evidence and literally eat it in front of the dog's family are the actions of a sociopathic.
Perhaps the difference is cultural. I don't think many developed countries would would play the killing and eating of a family dog for laughs.
