Call this episode "More Than One Assassin"
tarwaterthomas29 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Hey, gang, I just got through watching this episode and I mean to tell you that this new season is off to a good roaring start. After a mobster named Billy Sato is whacked during an opera performance, Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams find out that a former Army Ranger named Tom Kendall did the deed--but not by themselves. That information comes courtesy of Sergeant Quinn Liu of the Army's Criminal Investigation Department. It turns out that another Army Ranger is on the loose. It also turns out that the two assassins are working on behalf of a fellow (played by Rob Morrow) who was in hock to a loan shark after taking a bath in a real estate deal that went belly up. We also find out what happened to Jerry (played by Jorge Garcia) after he was shot by a Muslim woman from last season. He survived, and announced his intention of quitting the Five-O task force so he can write a book about the Federal Reserve' connection to the sinking of the RMS Titanic way back in 1912. Quinn Liu joins the task force. She'll give Steve McGarrett a run for his money and should be good for him. He'll quit dating bimbo divorcees named Brooke and dump Catherine Rollins like last week's breakfast garbage. This episode ended with an intruder breaking into McGarrett's basement and stashing a bomb into his toolbox. And Danny Williams is still getting his bromance on, and jerking Steve McGarrett's chain. This season is off to a good start. Hope it doesn't go off the rails. That's all I ask.

New Cast Member in the Final Season

Warning: Spoilers
Well it is the first appearance of Quinn Liu played by Katrina Law and wished the show could had lasted longer.

Remember after season 9 finale. That of Jerry gets shot but survives still he decides to leave knowing he faced a very close call in death.

Alex O'Loughlin is now a producer there but that he should had been a few while back there. It is up there with season 4, one of the worst seasons there.

Another annoying model masquerading as tough guy.
kris-gray30 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
So Jorge Garcia has, sadly, left the series and now we have yet another Annoying Woman trying to be a tough guy. We've had them before in 5-O and I'm sure we'll have them again but why do they have to look as if they've stepped off the catwalk to try and impress the men on the team. 'Look at me I don't take S*** from anyone'

Pleeeeeeze!!!!

So this episode has lots of shoot 'em up, car chases with an absurd scene featuring a vehicle with 10 foot wheels drives over a line of cars to escape with Steve and Co plus Annoying Woman firing hand guns as it disappears into the distance with no hope of actually doing any damage.

Why do I watch it you ask? Well I love the interaction and verbals between Steve and Danny so if I have to put up with AW then I guess it's a small price to pay, depends how annoying she gets.

Let's see how the series progresses.

Impersonating a federal agent
JDgsp8730 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
First, CID agents don't introduce themselves with their rank while conducting investigative activity; they introduce themselves with their title of "Special Agent" (AR 195-2). If she was demoted to MP and was still working cases, she would be an MPI and should've introduced herself as an investigator. As it is, she's impersonating a federal agent, claiming that she's CID and showing her badge when she's no longer CID.

Second, her badge was garbage. The actual CID badge says "Department of the Army," not "Department of Justice." The crest in the center was not that of the Army, and the eagle looked like a kid drew it.

Third, where is the Army nexus? If the subject is not in a Title 10 status, the incident would've been referred to the appropriate law enforcement agency or a joint/collateral investigation would've been initiated. And definitely not along the side of the road at gunpoint.

Posse Comitatus Act?

Fifth, if she was a real Soldier and got shot, she'd get that documented immediately for her VA disability.

Oh. And the motorcycle. No helmet, nothing reflective, and no cover while outside. And tuck the boot laces.
