After 10 long years, fans got the updated version of 2012’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive called Counter-Strike 2. The game was better than its predecessor as major technical improvements were made and a new game engine was utilized. The game had everything but a very important feature was missing: left-hand ViewModel. Popular games like Valorant have had this feature since the very beginning and it was very unusual of Valve to not add this feature since it was available in Cs:go.
Counter-Strike 2
Finally, the wait is over as a new Counter-Strike 2 has added this feature. With constant updates, Valve has been working hard to create a better gaming experience for the players as the game had a rough start. Many adjustments have been made in this update, including the return of the Overwatch anti-cheat monitoring system.

Those teen drama TV series are not to be taken lightly. Because they could produce the most promising Oscar-nominated or winning actors. For example, consider Skins, created by Jamie Brittain and Bryan Elsley.
Every episode usually centers on a specific character or group of characters and the challenges they encounter in their daily lives. Themes of mental illness, dysfunctional families, bullying, and s*icide were also covered in greater detail. Not only did Skins receive positive reviews and good box office results, but it also gained a cult following. Of course, this is due to the stellar cast.
Dev Patel in Skins
Jordan Peele also agreed on this. Unbelievably, he has not watched Skins but he still gives the popular TV series credit for “producing” two of the best actors in contemporary film history—Dev Patel and Daniel Kaluuya.

Introduced in the 1990’s Uncanny X-Men #266, Gambit quickly won the hearts of fans as he had interesting abilities and a multilayered backstory, which resonated heavily with series’ reader-base. With the ability to charge inanimate objects with energy and convert them into deadly weapons, Gambit captivated the X-Men fandom. A thief by profession, he was extremely agile and a strategist by nature.
Gambit from X-Men (1992)
The popularity sky-rocketed when he made a brief appearance in Hugh Jackman’s 2009 film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Fans were ecstatic to see The Trickster make an appearance, which led to Channing Tatum being offered to play the role in a standalone film.
However, Marvel decided to pull the plug on the film, as Edgar Wright, who was offered to write the script of the anti-hero, turned down the offer.
Edgar Wright Turned Down Gambit’s Standalone Film
Gambit has often been a polarizing character in the X-Men Universe.

For over 40 years, Stephen King has had his “Dollar Baby” program in place, allowing filmmakers to acquire the rights to turn any of his short stories into a movie for the cost of just $1. Unfortunately, the Dollar Baby program has now been disbanded, with its end confirmed on King’s official website: “The Dollar Baby Program was disbanded in December 2023. Contracts issued before December 2023 will be honored and will remain approved for one year from their instantiation, as per the terms of their contract. There will be no Dollar Baby extensions after December 1st, 2023.“
On his X account, King explained that the Dollar Baby program is no more because “Margaret, the Mistress of Dollar Babies, is retiring.“
Here’s how King described the Dollar Baby program in the 1996 introduction he wrote for the published screenplay for Frank Darabont’s The Shawshank Redemption, which was based on his novella Rita Hayworth...

In honor of Thanksgiving now playing in theaters, I decided to take a look at the filmography of Eli Roth. After spending a few days watching films like Cabin Fever, Hostel and The Green Inferno, I cried in the shower for about twenty minutes and am vegan now!
In no particular order, here are the most gnarly moments of Roth’s fun career in horror…
“I’m Never Gonna Shave Again” – Cabin Fever (2002)
Without a doubt my favorite Eli Roth film and in my opinion one of the most underrated horror comedies of all time, Cabin Fever features tons of laughs and gross-out scares. One in particular that is hard to forget. Specifically, for those who shave their legs.
After Sweet Lou (the always memorable Joey Kern) decides to reasonably say “To hell with all of you since you Won’T Stop Touching The Bleeding And Infected People” and storm...

"Whatever you do, don't let the White man have my land." Amazon's Prime Video has revealed the official trailer for the new documentary film from acclaimed filmmaker Raoul Peck, of the docs Fatal Assistance, I Am Not Your Negro, Exterminate All the Brutes. His latest is called Silver Dollar Road, another story about American racism. It's premiering at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival, with screenings at the Camden, Aspen, & Nashville Film Festival as well. A Black family in North Carolina has been harassed for decades by land developers attempting to take their waterfront property. For generations, the North Carolina property known locally as Silver Dollar Road was passed through the hands of an African American family, the Reels. But the Reels family's fortunes changed in the 1970s when developers sought to drive out Black landowners and profit from the real estate. Oscar-nominated director Raoul Peck tells the story of how the...

[This story contains spoilers from the season two finale of Minx, “Woman of the Hour.”]
In Minx‘s season two finale, the Bottom Dollar gang reunites to hit back at Constance Papadopoulos’ takeover, which has not only reshaped the magazine (titled “Minx”) but slowly revealed itself as more hostile than (almost) anyone realized.
While much of the group catches on in the finale, Doug (Jake Johnson) was the first to see Constance’s (Elizabeth Perkins) moves for what they were, bringing the evidence to Tina (Idara Victor) in the season’s penultimate episode while she was on a cabin-in-the-woods retreat with Joyce (Ophelia Lovibond) finding new women to join the Minx staff.
But the magazine’s international operations — promised to Doug by Joyce — were handed to Tina by Constance. Earlier in the season, Tina also turned down Doug’s marriage proposal after they both attended her family dinner, where Doug discovered she never told her family they were dating. As a result,...

Things continue to change at Bottom Dollar, and the team is feeling those changes heavily.
Once Minx took off, it was obvious that dynamics and roles would change, but seeing it play out is sad for everyone involved because it just doesn't feel like that Minx of yesteryear.
Minx Season 2 Episode 4 saw Doug and Bambi's dreams dashed, Joyce doing a little shopping, and Richie and Tina questioning their worth. And if that sounds depressing, it should. And it was.
In his quest to be more than the merchandise man, Doug and Bambi teamed up on a super secret project, which was basically just a way to impress Constance and further Minx's profitability.
Doug is a businessman, and he's a hustler. The day Doug Renetti isn't conjuring up the next big thing in an attempt to get rich and feed his ego will be a cold day in hell.

Plot: 1976, Brian de Palma directs Carrie, the first novel by Stephen King. Since, more than 50 directors adapted the master of horror’s books, in more than 80 films and series, making him now, the most adapted author still alive in the world.
Review: Almost as prominent as the books of Stephen King are the film adaptations of his work. Everyone has their favorites (and their not-so-favorites) and they’re prominent as can be. Whether it’s at the top of the Netflix charts or the latest Scream Factory release, there’s never been an easier way to watch his filmography. His adaptations are varied, adorning best and worst lists alike. Yet there’s a charm to most of them and a throughline that, despite the various filmmakers involved, feel part of a greater universe. So a documentary based on anything King-related feels like a no-brainer.

Today marks a sad day for the entertainment industry at large. Singer, actor, civil rights activist, and humanitarian Harry Belafonte has sadly passed away at the age of 96. Belafonte will be remembered for a great many things, but he is also one of the only artists to have a hit with the same song across two different decades. In 1956, the year of Elvis, Belafonte burst onto the charts with the timeless ear worm "Banana Boat (Day-o)" to quickly become the "King of Calypso" and create a new dance craze across the nation.

Co-founded by brothers Josh and Matt Altman and led by CEO Heather Altman (who is also Josh’s wife), The Altman Brothers transacted more than $2.5 billion in deals in the past 24 months. “That equates to about $4 million a day in sales every day of the year,” says Josh Altman in an exclusive interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “We did almost $1.2 billion in 2022 and $1.5 billion in 2021.” (Overall, across the country, Douglas Elliman had $42.9 billion in gross transactions in 2022 and $51.2 billion the prior year.)

In our Q&a /feature series Tell Me Más, we ask some of our favorite Latinx artists to answer the questions only their BFFs know about them, revealing everything from their most recent read to the songs that get them hyped. This month, singer-songwriter Elena Rose takes the test, and we are all ears.
Before manifestation - or the laws of attraction - went mainstream, Venezuelan singer-songwriter Elena Rose, born Andrea Elena Mangiamarchi Hernández, was learning about the wisdom behind how to live intentionally from her "super-spiritual mom."
Ever since she was a little girl, Rose, now 27 years old, knew she wanted to be a singer. While she always trusted that she could manifest that dream into existence, she knew the first step was leaving Venezuela. So, at 19, Rose and her 16-year-old sister migrated to the States to start a whole new life.

Ben Affleck doesn’t have any bad blood with ex-wife, Jennifer Garner’s, boyfriend, John Miller. In fact, according to a source, the Oscar-winning actor and the CEO get along just fine.
“Ben likes and knows John and gets along well with him,” a source tells Et. “Ben is very supportive of Jennifer dating and just wants her to be happy. It’s important for Ben to have a solid relationship with John.”
The source adds, “Ben is so laid-back and gets along with everyone, and John is one of those people too. John’s a cool guy, down to earth, and likes Ben too. They don’t hang out much on their own, text, or anything like that, but they have no issues when they are together. Ben has moved on and is very happy with Jen. He wants the same for Jennifer and nothing but the best for her.

For many years now Venice has been a respectful platform for those big-name directors of the 1970s and early ’80s who are happy to go back into the fray long after those juicy studio budgets dried up: Brian De Palma, William Friedkin, Paul Verhoeven, John Carpenter and — to a lesser extent — George Romero all found a home here for their late-period passion projects. Walter Hill, now 80, joins their ranks with an improbably youthful horse opera, and while it shows up the limitations of both writing and shooting a Western in the modern age, it’s nevertheless a wickedly enjoyable genre romp and full of violent surprises.
Hill dedicates his film to Budd Boetticher, which is a shame as it has already given critics permission not to think any harder...

Surprise, surprise. “The Bachelorette” won with primetime viewers on Monday night.
The juicy episode in which the men who have been eliminated during Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia’s journeys to find love returned for one final moment in the spotlight during the “Men Tell All” special courted a 0.8 demo rating and 3.3 million total viewers and was the most-watched and highest-rated program of the night — which also helped boost ABC to the top spot among the broadcast networks.
ABC’s newest competition series “Claim to Fame” couldn’t hold onto the momentum though, managing only a 0.3 and 1.6 million total viewers (which is still fairly decent for broadcast ratings).
“American Ninja Warrior” also had a strong showing on NBC, with a 0.5 demo rating and 3.1 million total viewers. NBC was the second highest-rated network of the night.

A quarter century after its release, Batman Forever remains perhaps the most divisive of the Caped Crusader’s 10 big-screen appearances to date. It is certainly the fulcrum on which the entire history of the series balances: the point where the franchise changed course in pursuit of instant gratification and success, only to pave the way for abject failure and supreme rebirth.
The back story of Batman Forever has been well documented before, so here it is in brief in case you were napping: following the less than stellar box office returns of Tim Burton’s 1992 Batman Returns — a Gothic fever dream which frightened not just children but Warner Bros. Pictures’ corporate partners like McDonald’s — the studio brain trust decided a change was in order.
Burton would not be back to direct a third Batfilm; that task was bequeathed to Joel Schumacher, who was mandated to bring a lighter, more playful vibe to the proceedings.

“Million Dollar Listing” host Ryan Serhant and YouTuber Casey Neistat announced Wednesday evening they’re teaming up to pay someone’s New York City rent for one year.
“Had I not been in New York City, I would have never then followed the weird career trajectory that has taken me to where I am today, you know, a lot of which I credit to New York City,” Serhant told TheWrap ahead of the announcement. “New York City allows all the apartments and homes that I sell to be worth what I sell them for and allows me to have my own beautiful home. It’s where I met my wife, where we had our first baby… like, my career was made in New York City.”
