I was very fortunate enough to get a ticket for Juzni Vetar 2 since I live in London, and the tickets got sold out instantly. Today was its first premiere here. Being a fan of the first film and the series, I was very excited to watch this long-awaited sequel. I can't praise this film enough: the cinematography was excellent, the soundtrack was hot, and this overall arc in the franchise was a successful approach. It would be rude not to mention the outstanding performances by all the actors. The location manager did a fantastic job, choosing a variety of locations to keep us all engaged. Not everyone will be pleased with how this film ended, but it sets us up for future content. Overall this was a top-quality watch, and if you are a fan of the previous instalments, this is a must-watch!

Personally, the first part is better for me, but the second part is not for throwing. It is very well done and will most likely enjoy you. The only thing that's not the best is the final scene itself, which seems to be the end of some ordinary episode of the Turkish series. Everything else is fine.

Juzni Vetar 2 : Ubrzanje is a sequel to the original Serbian cult classic (especially in the Balkans) predecessor, a movie which has gained a high prominence in the Balkans since it shows the gritty side of organized crime in Serbia and the neighbored . The main character Petar Maras returns with his trusted friend and partner in crime Baca, both this time they are at the top, while in the first they were grunts who just got messed up in things greater than themselves and won with street smarts and sheer luck. This time they are sent to a part of Serbia to buy land for an upcoming gas pipeline in a part of Serbia which is border by Romania, both after the younger brother of Petar, Nenad get's in trouble their plan and journey takes to neighboring Bulgaria in which they must find him before it's too late. The film is essentially more on the lower side than it's predecessor and TV series (which are must see since this movie picks up after the series) since it features action, both intrigue and stealth are shown the most honorable. The main cast returns from previous movies, the effects are done better and it' really close to Western produced movies. If you liked the predecessor and especially TV series (which are the best) then this is a must see!

Worst movie this year, and just to think that they show this movie in cinemas....is insulting the intelligence. It should be rated 12-, because everyone older than 12 should find bad acting, poor scenario, plot holes, unrealistic events.

In the whole movie, not once have I sensed suspense or thrill. Bikovic is acting very bad, even Radonjic who used to be very entertaining, only curses and is a caricature of himself in previous movie. Female characters? Non-existent! Only good actor is Bercek, but his role is so tiny and plot around him unrealistic that it can be disregarded.

I honestly don't know why they made such a low-level movie at all, because all the chances that most of the people will watch a sequel of it are...miniscule.

And yes, the Bulgarians...I, like most of the Serbs, are not very fond of them for historical reasons, but the way they are depicted in this movie is simply awful- as a bunch of gypsy-junky-tribal folks that came either from Wrong Turn movie or Borat's Kazakhstan. The same goes for Serbian villagers from East Serbia.

Plot is so full of holes, and some scenes that has no relation to anything else, like visit to Croatia, are totally out of context.

You will thank me for saving your money & time if you don't watch this...recording...

I have expected more of this movie. First movie and tv shows were amazing and they had so much potencial to do this movie even more exciting, but they have failed. The plot is just not for this movie with a lot of bad acting and so many unnecessary scenes.

I cannot say that I was disappointed but I wasn't amazed as well, in comparison to the first movie.

It felt too drawn out even if it is a relatively short film. And they've made a lot of mistakes. For example, they shot a car like a hundred times but not a single window broke, etc.

I had a great time, don't get me wrong, camera work is great, score is better in this one(although soundtrack from first film is and always will be much more iconic) and the "plot twist".... I really didn't see that coming. BUT, during the second part of the movie, I could always feel something is missing.

Plus, the movie didn't had ending. It ended like a TV episode that we have to wait next week to see.

Overall a solid ride, you'll probably enjoy it.

Solid 6/10, but because of a "twist" I have to give it an 8.

This movie is a disaster. Clear money milking from the faithful audience.

Very boring, slow, plot is almost idiotic. And the movie tittle is SPEED UP. Poor acting.

Movie without story. Everything could fit in half an hour.... Production is good, but there are no interesting characters and storyline like it was in previous part. Too much fire about movie for nothing.

Just a poor cash grab, uninteresting, bad acting, its sole purpose is to milk some money becouse first movie was good and they dont know when to stop... I guess they arent wrong because a lot of people bought a ticket for this, especially younger lads that are main customers... I cant say Im surprised.

The area is dreamplace with beautiful landscapes of desired establish the perfect harmony. Something that makes our hearts sing.

Kidare are 10-15 year-olds. There were so many cringeworthy scenes with actors pretending to be some tough guys. They acted very poorly and the script is just out of touch with the reality.

The Rambo scenes are not helping this movie either.

The Montenegrians in the series were written so well and perfomed by outstanding actors. You could really feel the fear in some characters and connect with them that it was just exciting to watch it. I really hoped that the producers would come up with something similar to them since they killed them all (which was the stupidest decision).

The cinematography was excellent. High quality shots, drone shots, few expensive cars, Ducati and a helicopter shows that they now have money to invest but it doesn't save the movie from so many cringeworthy scenes, poor acting and a bad plot.

I see manny people saying how this movie doesnt have a plot. My opinion is very different. Whithout spoiling the movie i would say that the plot is so obvious with his brother Nenad and the quest for him. Never mind the end of the movie, with its shocking twist, that left me speechless. Overall i had much fun watching this movie.

A filler movie used as a way to earn some good money from cinema tickets based on the popularity and very good quality of the South Wind TV Series that precedes it.

Bulgarian actors were great and in my opinion carried the movie with the two leading Serbian characters (Maras and Baca) being just a mere shadow of their previous selves because of the bad director's writing.

The story is predictable and in the end lets you feel disappointed realizing that you just watched the first episode of the new season of the TV Show and paid good money for it.

As the headline already says, plot is very badly written for this part of the movie.

It's not so exciting and interesting until the same ending of the movie where atmosphere starts to get hot.

Opening song was extremely good and overall soundtrack was superb.

If nothing else at least ending has good material for the series that will come in the future.

People offten compare this movie to prequel and series, but this one is different, and if you watch this as seperate movie its great, it reminds me to movies like Taken, and John Wick...Directing and camera are next level, acting is fenomenal by Serbian and Bulgarian actors. Take my advice and go to movie theatre and you will not regret.

This was supposed to be the rise of the main character and the growth of the leading mafia in the country. We got a Ramba who goes alone to the whole village. I hope they record another sequel that will correct things. The film is for the age of 10, without any overly interesting story, unlike the previous parts whose parts and quotes are still retold today.

Lot's of fun! Serbian action!

This is pure and fun movie expirience.

No need to take it so serious, just relax and enjoy!

All together, very bad movie. Poor acting, bad story, superficial characters.

There are few good actors who did a proper job. Everything else is ridiculous. Together with main character. Bikovic is acting like a beginner. Horrible.

When everyone is telling you how great this franchise is, it is possible to expect too much. Not in this case. While both subtle and sublime, it also is very violent at times. Funny also with Baca's jokes. You can see Bikovic's growth as an actor, in first movie he was ok in my opinion, in series he was good, and in Ubrzanje he was exellent. I recommend you to watch this movie.

If you want to watch good serbian series watch "BESA" But please dont watch this movie beacuse they wanted to make good plottwist but ruiend this series and very good first movie!!!

Good job to all of you - Serbs and Bulgarians! Great experience! I can't wait for the next part! Do it again with Bulgarian actors. I think this is great combination.

Omg, what I just saw. Terrible plot, bad acting, unrealistic story. There is nothing nearly good in this movie. I was a fan of first movie and also tv show, but they lost me big time. Positive reviews are clearly fake. Save your time and skip this garbage, believe me.
