I just realized that, up to this episode, Leo Gordon was missing in the series. As I expected, he plays here a heavy, a sort of head henchman in charge of a mine shaft crew where accidents happened. And he is also the man in charge of the nasty job for the big rotten executive, owner of the mine. A workman told our lead Garrison that unsafe materials were used in the tunnel. So Leo Gordon will be in charge to keep the workman silent.
We have here excellent performances, for a predictable but so good story that we are always glad to see in such crime series. And the noir atmosphere is much provided here, more than in other episodes of the series. Dotty Provine brings much with her lovely songs. I also just realize that.
