Wow! I had no idea- Made me cry!

The more I watched the more intrigued I became. What a fascinating story. Mr, Versace worked so hard to have the life he wanted. He seems like such a humble and kindhearted person. I could feel his passion for designing and the hurt in his voice from what he lost. It brought tears to my eyes.

As I listened to him speak about his time in China, I learned much about Mr, Versace. He is incredibly intelligent, strong minded, and has a calm demeanor. To survive his experiences these qualities would be necessary.

This story will keep you thinking for a long time after. It will make for interesting conversation. It should be shown in history classes also.

Great story!

A name we all know, the story we do not.

When your name is famous, is it still yours? This was a fascinating look at a man whose creativity has been in demand for decades. His role in the fashion industry is undeniable. Designs with his name, cutting edge style and high quality are known all over the world. His work and contribution to the fashion industry earned him recognition by artists and celebrities. The name that graced his pieces and became synonymous with high fashion ultimately turned into a battle for his very identity. A touching look at how the fight for his name, something we all take for granted, hasn't dimmed his light and the heartfelt lesson we can all learn. A true inspiration.

Quietly sitting back reflecting after seeing a man overcome and achieve. Alfredo Versace roared from his heart and spirit concerning the familial connections lost and the travesty of greed and pride within a name on two sides of the fence.

Director, Terence Gordon, and all those associated, did an impressive job telling Alfredo Versace's story with humor, sarcasm, moments of reflection, regret, self-acceptance, and the acknowledgement that he must accept that which he cannot change while pushing forward to better himself.

I highly recommend this film/documentary, as it truly expresses the nature of the human spirit.
