Disclaimer:I am no expert reviewer, I just need a show to binge watch and I'm going to Write a review for every episode I watch.
Although I'm really excited to see David Rossi join the show and the team again and I'm interested to explore the history of the BAU overall the episode is pretty cut and dry.
I was way more interested in seeing Rossi interact with the team and especially Hotchner then I was an actual case. The case started interesting but I lost interest relatively fast and found the ending relatively anti-climactic.
I'm interested to see what Rossi's backstory as that plays a big role in this episode and was not so subtle hinted at.
I really like episodes that explore how the team works and how they work so well together and by bringing somebody new when they allowed the characters to explain why working together is the most valuable tool they have. I also really enjoyed watching Rossi pop off on the phone with the unsub and I also like that he's a little bit more reckless than the rest of the team and willing to take chances which I am aware won't always work but I enjoyed for this episode.
In the scene at the end where the agents are handing out candy was so sweet I just love them and Garcia was so funny in this episode.
Overall it was a pretty bland case but the introduction of David was definitely worth the watch.
