Sharks and hurricanes

Warning: Spoilers
Sharks seem to love stormy weather - this isn't the first time a shark school shows up at Coral Key on the back of a storm. While Porter and Ulla are diving, they happen on a nasty school and proceed to put up signs around the park. Once again lots of flirting between Porter and Ulla that never seems to go anywhere. Meanwhile Bud frets to Sandy about his poor science grade and Sandy helps him find a cool animal specimen to wow his teacher. The boys dive and are attracted by a stingray to a abandoned car. Just as they explore the car, they are trapped by the sharks. Sandy sends Flipper to get Dad but Porter ignores him and is not fearful of the boys because he believes they are in school.

Flipper then takes it upon himself to round up a posse of dolphins who proceed to attack and kill enough of the sharks to free Bud and Sandy. Hard to believe but the footage looks real - in fact this episode features a ton of fantastic underwater shots. When the boys surface and see the army of dolphin assistants making their cries, Sandy says "Thanks a lot fellas - so long" in gratitude for their rescue.

Porter never finds out - Bud feigns a head bump to cover their morning absence. Bud passes science - just - and Porter suggests he gets an A by.....going with him and Sandy into the park and finding cool specimens! The boys agree saying sure Dad great idea! Funny line of the show - when Bud suggests he gives his teacher one of the huge worms he saw on the beach Sandy says "she won't just flunk you, she'll expel you!".

Are you sure you know where your children are?

Porter has no clue that even though school is in session, his two sons are in very real danger. Not even when Flipper comes throwing a fit to warn him does he get a clue. Porter's so stuck on the girl with him that he forgets just how mischievous his two sons are. When a relationship gets so involved that you are constantly playing reckless with your family, I'd say something has to go!

Just that morning while Porter and his girl were swimming, they discovered large man-eating sharks in the preserve. So they go around and hang up signs warning visitors not to swim in the waters until the sharks have moved on. But the boys had went for a "quick swim" before school to see if they could find a specimen for Bud's science teacher that would give him extra points and keep him out of trouble with his father. They are then trapped in a car (just happened to have their skin-diving gear with them) and cannot get out because of the sharks.

At the end of the episode is quite a jaw-dropping surprise. I really didn't expect that sort of ending, but it's probably better that way since enough blood had already been shed!
