- Jamie and Frank oppose each other's viewpoints over the public's treatment of cops after rowdy teens pour water on two rookies; Danny and Baez investigate a man who preys on the elderly; Erin is forced to admit her wrongdoings.
- When two of his rookies are too intimidated to react when a bunch of teen street scum offend them and throw water, Jamie goes arrest the ringleader after responding to his claim that throwing water isn't forbidden with a bucket-load, putting smart son and Frank at odds over how the public treats police officers and whether 'quid pro quo' is fair or provocative, and about the public message. Frank maintains against Jamie and the rest at dinner that his name holds Reagans to an even higher standard as a cop. Danny and Baez investigate a man who robs the elderly, one of whose victims later dies from an accidental fall, ultimately tricking him into confessing to lesser assault charges while identifying photos of people he's targeted, including the actual death he ignores. Erin's ex Jack Boyle makes her face her wrongdoings by bringing her Darnell Johnson's murder case, claiming new evidence indicates she put him away five years ago falsely convicted, which hostile Anthony helps prove.—KGF Vissers
