The Handler...
songod-9500315 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
So is she jumping from 1963 to 2019 where she apparently takes over the counsel? Or is it 1982?? Then brings daughter with her??

She has a greater control over time travel than Five. Yes? She hops back and forth with ease.

I find this and Diego's obsession with JFK to be the most annoying thing about the season. Why is JFK so important to him?? Not explained as of yet. No one apparently ever told him about consequences to actions when altering history.

All the characters are good but no.5 and Vanya are great.
Sherif_Ali11 August 2020
In this episode we see how much number 5 have changed , i think it's one of the most interesting characters . He was just an angry kid then stranded alone and that made him a cold killer who treated everybody badly. But in this season it shows us his good side in which he just wants to save his family and live happy without killing. Vanya shows us that she wasn't just evil , people made her that way and that under different conditions she can be a good person.

Oh my god we're back again...

Warning: Spoilers
Don't listen to the negative reviews on this one. This episode is probably the best of the season up to this point. We begin on an absolutely brilliant fight scene with the board of the commission and Five (its more of a slaughter really) Ben possesses Klaus and spends a day doing what he wants for the first time since he died. We get a great scene with Alison and the remaining Swede's and Vanya sets her plan to escape with Sissy into motion. Diego has quite an interesting destination too. The only person I can think of who didn't really get much to do this episode is Luther but I've felt he's been quite lacklustre this season anyway. Other than that, pretty spectacular.

2nd Season Even Better than the first!
calemany6 August 2020
The cinematography is beautiful, vibrant and fresh. Love the soundtrack too! Also loving the space that they gave each character to grow while moving the story forward at the same time. Well done!

Sooo good

Warning: Spoilers
Loving the 2nd season even more than the first! All the characters have become more vivid, and I love the beauty of the shots. The actors are soooo good too. The actor that plays Klaus is so much fun to watch. The scene in the alley with him fighting Ben inside his own body is what drove me to write a review. Love it!

Headspin Swedish

Warning: Spoilers
After the previous episodes atrocoius Swedish, My brain almost broke when Aiden pronounced it correctly. It caused the entire family to laugh out loud. Good episode, with dark undertones.

Very good!
pauli_gomez3 August 2020
It is a great episode, with 5 being amazing as always. And the actor is so good, it is a pleasure to watch him. He is also the most interesting character, but this season I liked what they did with Allison and Diego, and I even valued that Luther seemed to have grown something. Klaus and Ben are kinda meh, but I am so tired of Vanya. Frankly, her character is a device, it has not a real personality. I am not blaming Ellen Page, but the writing of her character is bad.

Love it all but one
swhite_111916 August 2020
The show is great but I wish they would kill off Ellen Page. She's the worst character and actress on the entire show. God she's awful please write her off some how.

The Price of Stupidity
Hitchcoc24 September 2023
These people never look at the big picture. Diego is about as dense as Luther. He now gets to see what Lila really is. The Handler sets things up to fail. It's doubtful if the whole gang had gotten together anything would have happened. Diego would try to talk them out of it. Luther would be mad about being sent to the moon. Vanya would want to get together with that knuckle headed farm woman. And on and on. Apparently they all need to be there to get things to happen. Otherwise, Five should dump the whole bunch and let them do their stupid, thoughtless things. Yes, I know. They have relationships but they are out of their time. So let's see how this gets solved.

Really good except for that massive plot hole.
thebethmcg3 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I'll delete this if it is explained later but I've been told it won't. The episode was really good except for the part where Five goes to assassinate the commision board in 1982 where civilization is somehow still standing. I'm not sure why the writers decided to completely ignore the entire conflict of the season which is that the world ends in 1963. You can explain the Hargreeves being alive as some sort of paradox since they have to cause the apocalypse and erase themselves from existence. (They haven't said this but easily could at anytime). However, there is no explanation for why the world is still turning 20 years after "doomsday".

Otherwise I thought it was the best episode all season. I'm not sure why everyone is so mad at Vanya in this one. She has no memory of her siblings or life in 2019 so it makes perfect sense that she would fight to keep the only family she knows (Sissy and Harlan). Nobody would accept it if someone they just met showed up and said they had half an hour to abandon their loved ones forever. I'm surprised Ray was so willing to go along with that logic especially since he JUST found out his wife was from the future like a day ago. Sissy was also already looking for a reason to run away from Carl so it's not like Vanya's single handedly breaking up a family. It was already broken. Anyway, Ben got to reunite with someone other than Klaus so I'm happy.

Why
charliehaak10 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Love anything with Five and the rest of the family, but Vanya is absolutely horrible this season. Her actions make little to no sense and just frustrate everyone. Her and Sissy feels like the most forced love ever conceived. Haven't finished the season yet but hope this awful subplot is dropped entirely and Sissy doesn't come with them to the future.

Vanya plot armor
balance_fives11 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Up until this episode it has been the best TV this year. However due to this episode I absolutely hate Vanya and her subplot, how the writers have made her this brat willing to destroy the world twice is not fun to watch.

Scenes with Fives is what gives two star.

Mixed Feelings
lynnboe2 August 2020
I have mixed feelings about this episode. Fives killing scene was great, but everybodies time prioritizing was annoying to the point that I didn't want to finnish the episode. How hard is it to show up on time when there is so much at stake? It is simply unrealistic. Vanya just gets worse, and I'd wish for the life of me that they would cast someone else than Ellen Paige.

It's a race against time - not that it matters
SgtLennon31 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
"You know, the Hargreeves are kinda awful people," I thought to myself while watching this.

It's a thought that materialized as Allison and Raymond tried to fend off their attackers, the Swedes. Here's this decent civil rights activist fighting for equality in the age before the 1964 Civil Rights Act, in Texas of all places, was passed and now he's literally fighting to survive against people who could not care less about him, except he was in the house when Allison opened the front door.

During this season, we've seen the many consequences of people who've associated with them. Klaus ruined many lives in his time as a cult leader, who might've otherwise led fruitful lives. Allison probably set back Raymond's sit-in movement. Diego and Luther place an obscene phone call because both of them don't understand Swedish. Five massacred an whole board of people, who were also awful people, based on a faint promise of a deal the Handler promised. Vanya and Ben are the only two siblings who stand above the fold and can acknowledge other injustices that aren't their own. And none of them are very aggrieved when they find Elliot mutilated and killed.

Oh right, and they're supposed to avert nuclear holocaust in less than a week.

They're not bad people because they naturally bring destruction, it's because they never look too burdened with guilt afterward.

Ellen is worthless
Eli_Elvis2 August 2020
5 is the only good character and actor. Crazy a kid can stomp all these veterans, but who can blame them with this writing. Ellen what's he name is the worst empty shell of an actor and character.

A predictable ending seeing how there's still three episodes left. Decent acting and higher level of power usage than previous episodes.

The first 30 minutes of the episode were the worst one yet (specially hated the Romance between jill and Ben) but the second half was amazing.

Warning: Spoilers
Why doesn't Five just teleport and gather everyone?! Why doesn't Vanya blow the first cop 500 meters away (that means far far away, for the people who don't know what a meter is)?

One bad apple can spoil the bunch
dramou26 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I'm talking about Ellen Page, I swear she's not even acting at this point, with how forced her relationship is, i wouldn't be surprised to hear that she's the one writing her character, every thing she does in this season is pointless and painful to watch, some may say "well she is helping sissy escape her abusive husband" to you i say, you must be new to time travel . Overall i hope i don't see her square face in the upcoming season.

Terrible episode
tallsingle13 September 2020
I love the series, but this episode was painful to watch. The times are completely implausible. All that stuff could not have happened in 90 min. The recklessness of the heroes is offensive. I hated the plot line and the characters.

No Vanya
bsimpson18916 January 2022
Vanya is a boring and annoying character. Which is too bad as she is probably the most powerful. I'm not too crazy about the actress playing her either.

god!!! this show is so bad that should be considered illegal, it almost kills me to dead of BOREDOM!!!!
jere_zabala21 December 2020
I'm really thinking in presenting a delation to the production of this show, cause the show should come with some warning of being cautios for the damage it may cause you in many ways, one of them is excess of depressive dialogues that go nowhere, and other one could be, a modern type of torture, the huge level of BOREDOM that this produced me.God, please cancel this show.
