Tony Hale’s cartoon chicken Archibald is moving from Netflix to Peacock for “Archibald’s Next Big Thing Is Here.”
Netflix ran two seasons of a series titled “Archibald’s Next Big Thing,” which will continue streaming on that platform. This new season — which is technically a new series based on Hale’s feathery character — consists of six episodes, which will launch Feb. 18 on NBCU’s Peacock.
Per “Archibald” studio DreamWorks Animation, “Archibald’s Next Big Thing Is Here” is the next chapter for Archibald Strutter, a chicken who “yes-and’s” his way through life. While his adventures don’t always go as planned, Archibald takes it one step at a time with the help of his three siblings, Sage, Finly and Loy, and his trusty sidekick, Bea.

Psych is officially set for another small screen reunion between James Roday’s Shawn Spencer and Dulé Hill’s Burton Guster for more pseudo-psychic sleuthing, thanks to the official order for a sequel TV movie, which, is now titled Psych 2: Lassie Come Home.
Interestingly, unlike 2017’s Psych: The Movie, the follow-up, as it turns out, will not premiere on the show’s old home of USA Network, with the reveal that it will instead debut on NBCU’s streaming service, Peacock. The move occurs after USA gave the initial greenlight for a second two-hour Psych TV movie back in February of 2019.
While it was originally planned to arrive before the end of 2019, the movie’s Peacock premiere is now tied to the streaming platform’s July 2020 launch. Steve Franks, creator of the original series, returns as director, writer and executive producer for Psych 2: Lassie Come Home.

Peacock, NBCUniversal’s new streaming service set to be available across the U.S. starting July 15, will be available on Google platforms and devices including Android, Android TVs, Chromecast and Chromecast built-in devices at launch, the media company announced.
Under the pact, Android and Android TV users will receive complimentary access to Peacock Premium (with ads) through Oct. 15, 2020.
So far, NBCU has announced Peacock deals with Apple and Microsoft’s Xbox — but has not yet clinched deals with the two biggest over-the-top device players, Roku and Amazon Fire TV (which are both holding out on HBO Max).
In April, Peacock’s “early preview” rolled out to Comcast’s Xfinity X1 and Flex customers at no additional cost.
On July 15, Peacock is set to launch wide in several versions: There’s a free, ad-supported tier featuring with more than 7,500 hours of movies, shows, and programming across news, sports, reality and late night.

Comcast and NBCUniversal are pushing Peacock out of the nest starting Wednesday, April 15, promising to unfurl a rich plume of 15,000-plus hours of streaming content, first for the cable giant’s own TV and internet customers.
Peacock is then slated to be available across the U.S. on July 15 — while NBCU is mulling the possibility of moving that up sooner — in various three tiers across mobile, web and connected-tv devices: paid with ads ($4.99 monthly); paid with no ads ($9.99 monthly); and completely free with ads with a truncated content lineup. With the national launch, Comcast (and Cox) subscribers also will have the option to get an ad-free version of the service for an additional $5 per month.
So what’s on the menu? Peacock will include live and on-demand content across current and past TV shows, movies, news, and late night programming, with some live sports once they resume post-pandemic. Most of...

NBCUniversal’s Peacock is ready to start rolling out to Comcast cable customers starting this week as scheduled — but most of Peacock’s original series will not be hitting the streaming service until 2021.
On April 15, Comcast will launch an “early preview” of Peacock Premium ad-supported tier, available for no extra cost to some 31.5 million of the operator’s TV and broadband customers across the U.S. The streaming service will begin rolling out Tuesday to subscribers with Xfinity X1 and Flex, the video service for broadband-only customers, with Peacock slated to be fully available across Comcast’s footprint by April 30.
At launch, Peacock Premium includes more than 15,000 hours of movies and shows, including library titles like “Parks and Recreation,” “Law & Order: Svu,” and “Two and a Half Men”; movies including “E.T.,” “Jurassic Park” and “Shrek”; and exclusive early access to content from NBC’s late-night shows.
