When I saw the negative reviews, I decided to put my opinion here. Overall, in my opinion this generation is not too bad. It is my favorite MLP series, and it was a huge part of my 2000s childhood. A Very Minty Christmas is a personal favorite of mine. While some of the stories can be boring (Dancing in the Clouds, Meet the Ponies) I still think this series is wonderful as it is mostly good with charming stories (A Very Minty Christmas, Runaway Rainbow, Princess Promenade, Charming Birthday) Now, Friends are Never Far Away was terrible, but the rest of the series is a-OK. The scenery is beautiful, the music is nice, and overall it is a great childhood classic in my opinion. G3.5 should be avoided. Awful character designs, horrible stories, no wonder that one is hated. As for the original G3, a childhood gem of mine I will cherish forever. I respect those who do not like it, but I feel the fans need a voice. That voice is mine. 7/10.

Probably the worst generation ever

I love watching generations of My Little Pony, Like G4, G1, My Little Pony Tales, And The New G5 Series but not this one.
The 2000's Generation is nothing but a piece of garbage. Some sence of this generation makes no sense (example: when pinkie pie said if spike has been alseep for 1000 years you think others dont hear you and spike said no dear friend, thats my name) the dialogues is dumb, and worst of all, theres too much pink in this generation. Not even a single in this generation goes without pink. The castle is pink, the ground is pink, the town mostly has pink in it, most ponies in their manes have pink, the sky is pink, and everything is just pink!
Theres no story, no entertainment, no value lessons, no laughs whatsoever. Worst of all, its just ponies just-wanna-have-fun! I also find this generation for little girls and toddlers and not for anyone over the age of 8. There is way way WAY too much giggling in this generation which made my head explode as much. And is is just me or the writers was thinking "hey. Just throw pink ponies in the screen and add lots of giggling and pink!
If you want your kids to watch anything just than just a show than giggling and the colour pink, than go watch some other great kid shows. 1/10, this generation is way way way to girly for me.
