Hot Cash

***SPOILERS*** It's when both Millie Baker, Irene Bailey, and her Aunt Gladys Shriner, Mary Finney, are both injured when their taxicab overturned on the 62nd street exit of the FDR Drive that it was discovered by the ambulance crew on the scene that the two had a lot more then clothes in the suitcases that they were carrying. $150,000.00 in cold cash was found in Aunt Gladys' suitcase that was traced to a robbery a week earlier outside Chicago. With Aunt Gladys later cleared of any wrongdoing in the Chicago robbery it's now up to the NYPD to talk to Millie who's on life support at Roosevelt Hospital's emergence ward to tell them how she got the stolen money and who if any were her accomplices in the robbery!

Undercover NYPD policewoman Casey Jones, Beverely Garland, is given the assignment by her boss Let. Cella,Frank Campanella, to impersonate Mille and find out who she was to contact and deliver the hot $150,000.00! There's also Millie's boyfriend Vinny, Elliott Sullivan, whom she keeps mentioning while in and out of consciousness in the hospital who supposedly set up the whole operation and how he can lead the police to the person that money is supposed to be delivered to: The Bela Lugosi look-alike, without the thick Hungarian accent, New York City gangster Phil Coulouris, Lou Polan!

***SPOILERS*** Undercover policewoman Casey Jones really keeps her cool playing the part of Millie Baker even when she's confronted by Millie's boyfriend Vinny who, with Phil Coulouris on the scene, immediately recognizes her to be an impostor! With Coulouris sensing that something is up and about to gun down Casey it's Vinny who changes sides and after Casey had told him when her hidden gun was plugs the mad as hell hoodlum, in him feeling he's been had, before he can get a shot off! Vinny had finally realized that Coulouris was only using him and his girlfriend Mille and planned to knock them both off after he got his hands on the stolen cash!

P.S With her job now done policewoman Casey Jones at the end of the episode turns to the audience and in very deep philosophical tones tells us how money no matter how much can't bring one love or happiness if it's dirty and ill gotten!
