Routine episode, at best. Casey goes undercover to track a shoplifting gang, but gets more than bargained for. There's more human interest than suspense as Casey encounters pathetically brain damaged son of the criminal mastermind. Actor Holsten tries hard as the gawky youth, perhaps too hard. Nonetheless, it's his childlike derangement that remains the entry's centerpiece. At same time, Garland gets to model uptown clothes, especially the heavy fur coat back when those were status symbols. Unfortunately, there're no Big Apple locations to interest the eye. Nonetheless, Garland is her usual spirited self as she deals with a not very plausible storyline.
