This movie is a *10* not a *1*

I voted *9* for this movie, and as of today there were 16 other people who voted 8 or higher. There is a single person who voted *1* and the score is 2.7? How can that be? It is a good thing the mathematicians counting these votes are not working for the space program!

The only reason someone would vote a *1* on a very good short film like this is because they are either insanely jealous of someone on the "Endgame Study" crew, or they are clinically insane. This film has an excellent look, the editing is crisp and clean, the direction is assured and solid, the writing is unique and fresh and the music is to die for.

Stories like these are what the world needs more of and filmmakers doing this kind of work are to be applauded not attacked. I've read this is being considered as a TV series and I hope it becomes one because I loved what these filmmakers did with only six quick minutes.

Great concept but it should be full-length movie

Warning: Spoilers
This could very well be one of the best films I've seen that explores "what if?" It could rival others in it's genre should it evolve into a full-length movie.

The movie is smart and well thought out and it has you thinking from the moment the first door opens. While it's easy to think Armageddon is what the story is all about, don't go down that path. The world has just lost two powerhouse cities on different continents and we're left at the end thinking "Did that really just happen?" I've come away from the movie now asking myself "what if it did happen?"

No other movie has taken this serious subject to this level. Great impact and once again I'll say, a great story. I didn't want it to be over.

Looks like a major movie that's six minutes long.

Warning: Spoilers
To the cast and crew of The Endgame Study: You know you are doing something right when you have shadowy people who show up and vote '1' and '2' without having seen your movie. I guess it makes them feel powerful to do that. Whatever. You guys did an excellent job. The editing is spot-on. Cira Bolla's photography is world class. The writing begs to be expanded into a feature or a TV show. Maybe I can help with that at some point. Special note on the sound design: Fantastic. The copy I received was not surround sound, however. Pressing error? I also have one question: Was the Doorman ever on film as more than a hand? Salut. Well done. Look forward to seeing more from this crew.

With earth on the edge of destruction, its survival depends on two people talking in a bar. But who is the alien?

Warning: Spoilers
I got this short from a friend but didn't look at it for six months because as you know, most shorts stink. This one didn't. Right from the start it became obvious this wasn't a film you could sit through without engaging your brain. I know, engaging your brain hurts, but this short is worth it. If you watch Dr Oz and find his medical diagrams and stunts challenging, this isn't a film for you. As the film unwinds, you begin to see that everything isn't as it appears and the more you watch, the less apparent the conversation is. I won't even hint at the ending because any hint might give it away, so all I will say is the end caught me completely by surprise. Liked the hot chick--don't remember her name. Guy, not as strong. Would have liked to see a major player in the role but I know, it costs money for players. The directing is subtle and engaging and I would watch any films directed by Mazmanian. Same for the writing. It is obvious this is a short made from a feature film and I would love to see the feature made. All told, this is a great short and one well worth your time to see.
