As a seasoned knitter I am always on the look out to learn. I know others crochet do I record and skip those bits but of the several shows I have seen so far there is a bias towards crochet.
Today a guy (kudos to being a man knitter) showed us a spring cardigan. Kind of grated that they kept saying cardi but whatever.
He explained a chart pattern (I hate chart patterns) which was good BUT when it came to a cable he said he preferred to NOT use a cable needle. He then proceeded at one stage to remove 3 stitches from the needle and hold them to not lose them. I'm sorry but this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen on a teaching show. Use a cable needle FFS, that's what they are for!! The show is beyond annoying.
