  Tom Massick : [exasperated]  Have you lost touch with reality? You're talking to the only person who knows what really happened!

  Veronica Koslowski : I don't know why you're so mad at me, Tom, but it is a terrible state of affairs when the police will listen to a story from anyone who walks in off the street

  Tom Massick : You don't care that an innocent person is going to jail.

  Veronica Koslowski : I care more about being blamed for something I didn't do. How would you like it if I walked into that police station and said "excuse me, officers, but I'd like to tell you a couple fairy-tales about Tom Massick, for example-"

  Tom Massick : [knowing that there is an audience]  Wait, come off it!

  Veronica Koslowski : [as the police listen attentively]  Supposing I said I know for a fact that Tom Massick was involved in a money-laundering operation in Louisville, here's how he did it. First, he set up a dozen front corporations, each with its own bank accounts...
