Storms repeatedly states throughout the video that Joker (2019) should have won "Best Picture". Joker, out of all nine of the nominees, was the only wrong answer.
Storms says that a film being nominated for "Best International Feature Film" should invalidate it from being nominated for "Best Picture". This ignores the fact that foreign films have been nominated for both awards (back when the former category was known as"Best Foreign Language Film") since the 42nd Oscars ceremony.
Storms brings up how after Beauty and the Beast (1991) was nominated for "Best Picture", the Academy established the "Best Animated Feature" category in order to prevent any more animated film from getting a "Best Picture" nomination. While he's admittedly not entirely wrong, he says this as if no other animated film had been nominated for "Best Picture" since then when, in reality, Up (2009) and Toy Story 3 (2010) were nominated for that award in their respective years.
