Alfredo, a Cuban American musician, must go back home to Tampa after news that his father is sick. In coming back, he must deal with a broken relationship with his father due before it's too late.
Alfredo is the son of acclaimed Cuban jazz musician Roberto - their family bar is the hub for Cuban Culture in Ybor City in Tampa. When Alfredo rejects his Cuban roots and pursues American jazz in L.A., his father refuses to support him until a sudden stroke calls Alfredo home.
