Just Bake Cookies is the coming of age story of a young man named Quinton and his struggle to navigate his way from teen to manhood. We meet Quinton in high school as he saves another kid from being bullied by beating the assailants. Quinton's Grandfather, Pops has been raising Quinton ever since his mother passed away from Cancer a few years earlier. Pops is very wise and loving but has a hard time helping Quinton keep his anger in check. Pops comes to the realization that he needs reinforcements to rein in his well-meaning but ultimately undisciplined grandson. He enrolls Quinton in a local Kung Fu school and through his martial arts training, Quinton finds himself. Fast forward a few years later. Quinton has transitioned nicely into a good man and is now a Mixed Martial Arts world champion. However, Pops has developed Alzheimer's disease. Throughout Quinton's life, he's faced many challenging obstacles. His Grandfather's illness may be the toughest yet. Just Bake Cookies was written by Quinn Early and is directed by his son Cameron Early. The two have been able to share some amazing experiences together working as stuntmen on several movies and TV shows such as, Bright, S.W.A.T. and Seal Team. Just Bake Cookies is based on their relationship. Quinn's mother Ann Early was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2008 and passed away in 2013. Just Bake Cookies will also be used as a vehicle to raise money and bring awareness to this horrible disease that ultimately took Quinn's Mother, Cameron's Grandmother's life.
