This one may even be my number one favorite. I still have to get through my whole rewatch before I decide. ;)
We finally get the backstory on the Casey-Cappie-Evan love triangle, and it is so worth the wait! This episode may even make you change allegiances between the 'ships.
We also get more flashbacks to when Casey met Ashleigh and Frannie, plus when everyone decided to rush. There is an unexpected Cappie-Evan backstory that I don't think the writers planned from the very beginning, but WAS hinted at a couple episodes back.
I laughed a bit at the references that make absolutely no sense (MySpace was not a new thing in 2005, and the girls would be on Facebook at this point), but that's pretty expected when the writers are actually 20 years older.
Overall, this one tugs at the heartstrings and makes you eager to keep watching. Shout out to "Nothing Like You and I" at the end of the ep, which has been one of my favorite songs since this premiered.
