Shawn points out a glass cut on Toxic Waste's shoulder and then explains that such an injury is more consistent with burglary than roller derby. However, at that point he had already seen the used cruise ticket in Toxic Waste's locker and already knew that she wasn't involved in the break-ins.
Shawn opens Fox's locker, takes out the watch and recalls the CCTV footage. However, afterwards he is suddenly standing in front of Super Scar's locker, and that's also the one to which he returns the watch.
After Shawn and Gus follow the derby skater Rita "Lethal Weapon" Westwood to the marina a human body floats to the surface of the water and even opens its mouth to breathe, yet the next day Santa Barbara PD reveal it to be a mannequin. A real human body had to be used for the scene because mannequins are too buoyant to ever go below the surface of the water.
While Gus and Shawn are following the suspect in her pickup truck through the streets of Santa Barbara, you can see the green street lights flashing. This is a common feature of Canadian street lights, not of those in Santa Barbara, California. Scenes for the show are filmed in and around Vancouver, Canada.
It is established early on that there are only two teams that could be involved in the break-ins, and both are playing during Juliet's first match (orange vs. pink). However, at the end of the episode at least one member from a third team (camo), involved in Juliet's second match, can be seen being led to a police car in the background.
