Sound Issue

Love the show - just one request should anyone involved with the production be reading this. Please stop amping up the backing sound tracks to the point where you can't make out what people are saying and have to resort to subtitles.

Surgical Procedures

I may be out of date but when I worked in an operating room there's no way Reynolds would have been gowned up by someone outside the sterile field. And their masks would have been on their faces before they started to scrub. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoy this series and am overjoyed that it's starting up again.

Poorly written love story
fnhdrzsv3 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The love story between Max and Helen is incredibly poorly written. It seriously fails to capture any real depth of love between them and mostly focuses on lust and want. The rest of the episode is somewhat childish in regards to bloom and her girlfriend and other relationships. For a medical drama New Amsterdam continues to fail to deliver.

Hmmmm

Someone needs to go back and watch Season 1, to see what made this show different and special. Too much personal life, dysfunctional relationships, and sex scenes. What drew us to this show was the remaking of the hospital and patient treatment, not this focus on the personal lives of the staff. Very unhappy lives. They make such bad choices I would be very frightened to have them in charge of my medical care. About to become a pass on my list of shows to watch.

too many cuts back and forth

Ok, I get it, new generation of kids all have adhd but it was too many cuts back and forth between private life of the main character and the business life. It is unbearable to watch.

Too little, too late!

A romantic relationship between Dr. Goodman and Dr. Sharp would have made sense a couple of seasons ago. I was rooting for them, in fact, a few years ago. But by now they are more like brother and sister and I'm grossed out.

Disfunctional soap opera
gherahtraitte24 December 2023
Omg. When did a good drama about medical care of 1 and 2 seasons turn into a soap opera about disfunctional relationships and some side faces of patient care? That's just too much. Is disfunctional is the new woke? I don't know how else could this be so over the top.

Max and Helen love story is very poorly written and acted, absolutely no chemistry so I don't even care if they are together or not. But I thought viewers suppose to care and empathise! Writers fail.

I hardly survived 3d season and have no idea why I bother to keep watching. It all looks like a parody of New Amsterdam. It should've stopped after season 2.
